Organised by The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), ‘’Create Your District” Competition 2023 aims at encouraging students to explore the rich history, cultural traditions and city development of the Northern Metropolis and demonstrate their creativity by designing an ideal community for Northern Metropolis. The winner can receive generous prizes!

The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) is composed of around 11,000 members, including over 7,600 corporate members. HKIS work includes setting professional services and performance standards, establishing codes of ethics, determining requirements for admission as professional surveyors, and encouraging members to upgrade skills through continuing professional development. HKIS has an important consultative role in government policy making relating to the built environment and development cycle, which includes land planning and development, building design, construction, building usage and operation, etc.
