Hosted by The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), ‘’Create Your District” Competition 2025 aims to encourage students to explore the history, cultural traditions, and city development of the Kowloon City district and demonstrate their creativity by designing an ideal community for it. Fabulous prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Established in 1984, The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS) is the only surveying professional body incorporated by ordinance in Hong Kong. As of 23 May 2025, the number of members reached over 11,000, including over 8,000 corporate members. HKIS work includes setting professional services and performance standards, establishing codes of ethics, determining requirements for admission as professional surveyors, and encouraging members to upgrade skills through continuing professional development. HKIS has an important consultative role in government policy making relating to the built environment and development cycle, which includes land planning and development, building design, construction, building usage and operation, etc.
